"1861 “Emperor Napoleon III - Reception of Siamese Ambassador Convoy” Official French silver medal, diameter 72mm., obverse Emperor Napoleon III burst right, reverse Siamese Ambassador Convoy audience with French Emperor Napoleon III & Empress Eugenie at Palace of Fontainebleau dated 27 June 1861, few light knicks and knocks on the rim otherwise in very attractive in almost uncircualted condition. Excessively rare in silver. AU.(1) Note: This is the third specimen we've ever handled, the last one was also an AU back in Eur-Seree Sale #52 on 7 Apr 2019 Lot 3330 and sold for 290,000Baht."
